Mission
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
Services Required:
PHW’s Digital Marketing Director represents a full-time position that manages the administration of online marketing initiatives and online community development across all aspects of the organization’s web-based and social media platforms. This position will function to ensure that the business-oriented activities of PHW track with necessary business objectives. This position is eligible to work remotely.
The Digital Marketing Director performs a wide range of duties including the following:
Responsibility
- Day-to-day tasks include managing donor acquisition and retention tools and reporting on social media and web analytics
- Review, report, and define needed steps to improve performance of current marketing strategies
- Work with the Vice President of Donor Relations to ensure that social and web presence and partnerships align with long-term strategic goals
- Work with the Creative Director to assure content aligns with desired KPIs
- Manage business partner relationships based on desired outcomes/ROI – maintain accountability of partnerships to ensure progress toward achievable goals
- Develop and execute strategies that drive traffic to website and achieve desired areas of growth
- Identify and evaluate community and brand risks and take appropriate action to control the risks from an analytical perspective
- Operate in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- Represent PHW at local, regional, and national events when needed
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Applicants should be excellent writers with experience in community relations, social media and social media analytics, email marketing, and website management
- Ability to manage Constant Contact as a donor acquisition and retention tool
- Highly organized results-oriented thinker with ability to implement processes independently
- Proactive attitude and initiative
- Intellectually curious, motivated, and driven by a passion to learn
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver under pressure
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Understands website metrics and best practices
- Experience with search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a widely distributed team
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design or related field or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Microsoft office suite experience required
- Constant Contact experience
- Ability to read and interpret Google Analytics
- WordPress and other CMS software skills
- Salesforce CRM systems experience strongly preferred
- Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool
- Experience conducting information research to support and inspire work
- Fly Fishing experience is a plus!
- Veteran a plus!
- Some travel is required
Authority
- The Digital Marketing Director reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
- The Vice President of Marketing prepares the Digital Marketing Director’s performance evaluation.
- The Digital Marketing Director’s performance is evaluated at minimum annually based upon the performance of assigned requirements and duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,500.00 - $72,500.00 per year
