Job description

Direct Support Professionals needed Full Time (8 hours each day Mon.-Thur.) in Dyersburg, Tn. for individual requiring total care. The DSP will provide assistance and support for daily living activities for the DIDD or ECF member in the home setting and in the community in accordance with the Individual Support Plan, Approved Service Plan, and Plans of Care. Provide necessary assistance for eligible persons in order to meet their daily living needs and to facilitate their participation in community life. Assistance may include direct assistance with daily living, attendant care, household services, money/financial management, assistance with personal hygiene, assistance with meal planning and preparation.

ECF services and supports promotes and supports integrated, competitive employment and independent living as the first and preferred option for all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. ECF supports individuals in identifying and meeting their self identified employment and quality of life goals.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must possess appropriate communication skills.

Must possess basic living skills and the ability to provide personal care services.

Must be able to pass background check.

Must pass all job related training.

Must have valid drivers license, proof of automobile insurance, and dependable transportation.
