Summary:

Responsible for the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive enterprise data strategy and analytics delivery model to leverage data as an asset including Information Intelligence, Data Partnerships, Advanced Analytics, Reporting, Adoption, Analytical Application Development, Data Integration, Data Governance and Business Intelligence Delivery. Responsible for enterprise analytics platform, data engineering architecture, design and governance to support platform scalability, performance, access and security. Improve organization’s analytics maturity and enable advance analytics capabilities including descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics leveraging modern and advanced technologies. Responsible for budget and annual spending, as well oversight and development of direct reports and team members in the Analytics Center of Excellence. In collaboration with key clinical, business and technology leadership, oversees the development of information intelligence system solutions and governance frameworks that enable improved organizational performance and effective utilization of information. Actively works to improve the organization’s data management practices, information management practices and information usage behaviors. Weaves data engineering, analytics product development, analytics services and data governance together in accordance with the Enterprise Analytics strategic plan to offer a coherent enterprise-wide experience for transforming data into insights. Accountable for routine communication of results, capabilities and issues to key stakeholders and to forge strong relationships and provide mentorship to raise the analytical acumen of the organization.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of experience in the following: Directly managing a BI, Analytics development team. Developing BI/Analytics strategy and working with senior/executive leadership for aligning BI and analytics with organization goals. Leading and driving adoption of BI and analytics across the organization. Working on data analytics from Epic Clarity/EMR system 4 or 5 years of progressive experience in following tools and technologies: Experience developing and designing BI solutions with tools including QlikView and/or Business Objects, preferably a combination of QlikView and Business Objects. Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology for rapid development using any industry leading agile/scrum tool. Experience in data warehouse design and development with knowledge of data architecture and dimensional data modeling using Kimball methodology (Star Schema and Snow Flake Schema) with industry leading data modeling tools (SQL Data Modeler/Erwin Data Modeler). Experience in developing complex SQL queries and strong database knowledge in Oracle/SQL Server. Experience with data management and data integration including Extract Transform & Load (ETL) architecture and development using industry leading data integration tools (IBM DataStage/Informatica/SSIS). 2 years of BI and analytics experience in a healthcare industry preferred.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
