Job description
We are seeking a Director - Health System Labs to be the operational and strategic leader for the Prisma Health System strategic partnership with Labcorp. Lab Market Directors as well as additional lab departmental leaders will report to this position. This position is not only responsible for laboratory operations at Prisma Health labs but also serves as the liaison between Labcorp and Prisma Health for the purposes of the strategic partnership. The person needs to have the ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment.
The Senior Strategic Director for Laboratory Services will provide strategic vision and oversight, plan, direct, coordinate, manage and promote the operations of the onsite laboratories at Prisma Health. The position will be responsible f or managing and promoting the strategic partnership between Labcorp and Prisma Health in a manner that will optimize value, efficiency and effectiveness, resulting in the highest quality and customer service. The position will support directors and managers to ensure compliance with applicable CLIA, Joint Commission, and CAP regulations. They will be the liaison between Labcorp leadership and Health System Leadership and serve as an effective communicator to emphasize value-add efforts for the strategic partnership.
