The Opportunity

The Director of Product drives the product vision and strategy across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding our current product offering, as well as identifying new products that would enhance our value proposition. As the Director of Product, it will be your responsibility to work with members of our team to understand the needs of our merchants and position our suite of products to be presented across multiple sales channels and merchant categories. This role will also drive the planning and execution of new product launches.

The Director of Product is a strong leader and impactful communicator, able to present ideas clearly, take feedback openly and work with a variety of team members to ensure we have a strong product offering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product expert in the organization with a clear understanding of the current product offering and operationalization of those products.
• Drive the productization of current products to fit the needs of each sales channel.
• Partner closely with Sales and Support teams to understand the needs of our merchant base.
• Maintain a pulse on the industry and identify new product opportunities.
• Evaluate new product offerings and position them with the appropriate teams to decision.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to define and execute a go-to-market plan for new products.

Qualifications, skills, and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of five years’ experience in the Payments industry with a product focus.
• Knowledge of the current payments product landscape.
• Working knowledge of product security in the payment processing space, i.e., encryption, tokenization, PCI Compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present new products and gain alignment across leadership
• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams
• REMOTE with travel or onsite in Nashville, TN (Relocation Assistance Available).
• Company is unable to sponsor a Visa.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
