Job Summary

Responsible for the administration and direction of the Credit Union’s real estate lending program; ensuring a safe, sound and profitable mortgage loan portfolio of in-house, secondary market, and home equity loans. Establish sales goals and strategies to attain budgeted production. Maintain strong relationships with real estate industry professionals and serve as an expert resource for referral partners. Oversee all aspects of real estate lending for both first mortgages and home equity loans, including origination, underwriting, processing, closing and servicing. Provide strategic leadership in developing products and services to serve the real estate industry and member needs.

· Develop and maintain a department business plan; lead the origination sales function for first mortgages and ensure origination team is delivering on service standard and business plan expectations.

· Provide strategic leadership in the development of real estate lending products and services; propose enhancements to existing products as well as new products.

· Maintain a broad understanding of the secondary mortgage market and first mortgage pricing structures; ensure underwriting and processing standards are in line with regulatory and lending guidelines; monitor industry trends to ensure application of guidelines is in line with industry standards.

· Monitor real estate lending processes and ensure consistent delivery of Service Standards throughout the loan process.

· Maintain an extensive network of industry professionals; regularly deliver presentations and provide industry insight to community and real estate related organizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
