Director of Retail Sales

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing, the top manufacturing popcorn company in the US, is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Retail Sales to drive sales growth specifically in the Walmart channel. As the Senior Director of Retail Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the short-term and long-term sales strategy for Walmart, including annual sales plans and budgets, forecasting, pricing strategy, and promotion plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Walmart stakeholders, including category managers, buyers, and supply chain managers.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and plans.
- Develop and lead high-performing networks and relationships internally and externally to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential threats to the business.
- Analyze sales data to make data-driven decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies and tactics to maximize profitability
- Create and monitor key performance sales metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:
Required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing retail sales, with a proven track record of success in selling to Walmart.
- Experience as a sales professional and delivering results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
At least 7+ years of experience in food manufacturing retail sales, with a proven track record of success in selling to Walmart.
