Overview: Performs all duties to ensure the dining facilities are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with local and state health requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area and properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
• Responsible for maintaining dish room and dish machine.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
• Maintains all areas of the kitchen clean during peak and off peak times.
• Ensures all items are properly air-dried prior to storing.
• Monitors usage of dishes and glassware during meal periods and restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, walls, windows, shelving, all areas of the kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties all trash containers and receptacles as required and maintains clean trash containers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. May be working towards high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age

A weekend getaway to the Keys is a sunny drive south on U.S. 1; Miami International Airport is about 30 minutes north.
