We are looking for a creative Display Technologist who can lead innovations to Apple's outstanding display technology features. As a Technologist in the Display Investigation team, you will have a wide range of responsibilities in exploring, investigating, and implementing new display technologies for use in Apple products! Candidates with strong problem-solving skills combined with deep curiosity about displays will be preferred.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent qualifications in 3 or more areas below is required:
- Strong knowledge in optics and physics.
- Hands-on simulation of optoelectronic devices.
- Capability of using a generic programming language (such as Matlab or Python) to solve practical problems.
- Capability to analyze large quantity data and draw meaningful/useful conclusions.
- Experience with machine-learning classification or optimization algorithm design and implementation.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple teams.
Description
- Work with internal teams and external suppliers to characterize, model, and improve display performance. - Develop and maintain simulation pipelines for existing and new display technologies, across a range of Apple products and systems. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to incorporate novel display technologies. - Validate performance metrics and analyze large data sets during both development and production phases.
Education & Experience
- PhD or MS degree in Physics, Optics, Material Science or Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
