Purpose
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Dive Locker Support Technician. The specialist shall be capable of basic analytical skills pertaining to airborne and maintenance operations. This shall include problem identification, information gathering, course of action development and course of action recommendation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Shall develop daily operational briefings/reports/information documents pertaining to diving and hyperbaric maintenance and operations for approximately 1200 pieces of equipment to include the Expeditionary Hyperbaric Chamber System (EHCS), Transportable Recompression Chamber (TRC), MK25 Closed Circuit Underwater Breathing Apparatus, Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA), Bauer Divers’ Breathing Air Compressors, Rapid Deployable Oxygen Transfer Pump System (RDOTPS), and all ancillary equipment associated with these systems. Products shall capture and report in a logical easy to understand manner equipment capabilities, status, maintenance requirements and any deviations or changes that may impact the unit’s training or mission profile. Products shall be delivered to the Master Diver, or senior Navy Diver if the Master Diver is not available, of the Dive Locker for final review and dissemination. Products shall be in the form of Microsoft Office Suite of programs or oral/verbal reports.
  • Will be required to support occasional Recompression Chamber operations as a qualified chamber operator, taking direction from a qualified recompression chamber supervisor or the Command Master Diver.
  • Shall be able to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, specifications, drawings, technical data packages, parts breakdowns etc. for the purpose of including this information in briefings, reports or required documents. In addition, the contractor must have (or gain) access to Supervisor of Salvage (SUPSALV) CAC enabled website (secure), and be fluently familiar with SS521-AA-MAN10 US NAVY AND MANNED HYPERBARIC SAFETY CERTIFICATION MANUAL; and perform necessary duties to ensure compliance.

  • NAVEDTRA 43241 (303) Work Center Supervisor
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 MK25 Closed Circuit Technician
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 Divers’ Life Support Systems (DLSS) Technician
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 DLSS O2 Worker
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 DLSS Operator
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 Chamber Operator
  • NAVEDTRA 43910 SNDL Operator

Certifications to maintain the following:
  • Evinrude E-Tec outboards USMC \
  • Evinrude Multi-Fuel outboard engine (MFE)
  • Mercury Verado outboard engines
  • Combat Rubber Reconnaissance Craft (CRRC)
  • USMC 31' Open Water Safety Craft coxswain
  • USMC Dive Boat (MCDB) coxswain
  • Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) coxswain

Minimum Required Experience:
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of US Navy or USMC diving experience to include equipment and hyperbaric maintenance. Experience shall include all equipment associated with recompression chamber operations/maintenance, and MK25 combatant diving operations/maintenance. Most recent experience should be within the past 48 months.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the Navy’s Material Maintenance Management (3M) program to include NAVEDTRA 43241 (301) Maintenance Person, (302) Repair Parts/Supply Petty Officer, and (303) Work Center Supervisor (WCS) qualifications. In addition, the contractor shall be familiar with managing the Navy’s maintenance scheduling and recording system of SKED (current version) and be able to adapt to any program and system changes required by Navy maintenance program managers. This also includes weekly, quarterly and annual formal/informal classroom maintenance training on organic equipment in accordance with the Navy’s 3M system.
  • A minimum of (3) years of experience qualified under NAVEDTRA 43910 as MK25 Closed Circuit Technician, Divers’ Life Support Systems (DLSS) Technician, DLSS O2 Worker, DLSS Operator, Chamber Operator, SNDL Operator, TRC Operator, and Re-entry Control Supervisor.
