Position Summary: TheDirector of Crisis Services oversees the 24-hr Crisis Line, Walk-In Crisis Center, Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Mobile Crisis Outreach programming, and Quick Response and Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Teams. This includes the services of phone crisis counseling, chat and text, referral services, and mobile crisis visits to homes, schools, hospitals and other community locations. As Director you will maintain and implement programming consistent with a client-focused agency philosophy, best practices, and funder requirements. Job duties include supervision of management level staff (6 direct reports, 35 indirect), and maintaining strong relationships with funders and community stakeholders. Additionally this position includes oversight of billing, contract reporting, data collection and integrity, quality monitoring of programming, and community outreach. The best candidate for this position will have strong leadership skills to inspire staff internally, and to advocate externally. This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer.
Qualification Requirements:
- Extensive experience working in a trauma-informed environment.
- Experience working with youth and adults experiencing crisis.
- Strong skills in data collection, demonstrating outcomes and reporting to funders.
- Experience with Project Management and implementation of new services.
- Skilled with best practices in crisis work and serving individuals experiencing suicidal ideation.
- Excellent attention to detail working accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
- Able to use basic office machines such as computer system with programmed software and fax machine.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals in order to convey and receive information effectively
- Must work well in a team environment
- Work with staff, consumers and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful and effective manner.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in health services administration, business management or related field, Master’s Degree preferred. Prior computer/PC experience using computerized Medical Records. Must have previous supervisory/management experience. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background checks as well as post offer drug screen.
