Job Description
Drafting Manager Qualifications Sought:
- 5 - 10 + Years’ experience in Structural Steel Detailing
- Knowledge of current AISC Codes and Standards
- Working knowledge of Tekla detailing software
- Working knowledge of SDS2 detailing software
- Working knowledge of BlueBeam software
- Familiarity with AWS Welding Codes and Procedures
- Ability to comprehend Architectural and Structural design documents
- Ability to understand and interpret project specifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD detailing software
- Working knowledge of Revit software
- Working knowledge of Navisworks software
- Working knowledge of KISS, CNC and NCI files
- Familiarity with Strumis production software
- Understanding of the RFI (Request for Information) process
- Familiarity with Prolog, ProCore and other General Contractor project software
- Experience supervising 30+ detailers
- Above average written communication skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Self-motivated
