Seeking a Draftsman for a specialty woodworking company in Brandon, MS.Draftsman Details:
Direct Hire position
$ 18.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
Uses information provided by the Production Committee to produce shop drawings, cut tickets, and take-off lists
Reviews plans and specifications; working within the Operations Department to ensure quality in every aspect of the job scope
All shop drawings must match scope and estimating worksheets
footage and species of trim must be incorporated in the shop drawings
Verify finishing schedule for sinks, appliances, etc. prior to submittal
Draftsman Qualifications:
Required: Three years experience as a draftsman with an architectural millworker, general contractor, commercial construction company or equivalent
Must be knowledgeable in the drafting processes involved with architectural millwork, contracting or commercial construction
Knowledge and ability to use computer systems and specialized software related to job costing and drafting
Knowledge, ability, and experience to read, interpret and understand blueprints and technical specifications
