Location: Ft. Worth, Tx - OnsiteSUMMARY
Champion department mission to help drivers be successful business owners. Support, direct and educate drivers to ensure their long term success with Landstar.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Assists center traffic with general requests and incoming calls
- Perform as a back-up for other center personnel which may include class instruction
- Aid with clerical work
- Develop rapport with vendors and other departments to maintain supply chain for center
- Offer potential solutions when problems arise with the team, customer or work load
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to inspire/motivate others
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a multi-task orientated environment
- Strong initiative to support drivers needs when visiting the center
- Ability to perform quality work with minimal supervision and manage time wisely
- Prior exposure to trucking industry and/or Landstar
- Proficient with current technology
- Public speaking or educational experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Three months to one year related experience required
- Valid drivers license required
