Location: Inpatient Residential Program in Westborough, MA. The Driver may also provide transportation for other Spectrum programs at the Westborough Campus as directed.

Pay rate: $16.00/hour

Schedule: Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. (Must be flexible for programmatic needs.)

The Driver is responsible for:

• Coordinating and providing all transportation services, including: maintenance monitoring and scheduling for clients.
• Driving agency vehicles to meet program needs.
• Transporting clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client-related issues.
• Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
• Working with the Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for campus vehicles.
• Conducting daily safety checks and appropriate documentation before driving campus vehicles.
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and complete duties in the allotted time.
• Responding to all life safety maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
• Following all organizational and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of agency vehicles and transporting clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must display the use appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, staff and regulatory agencies.
