Current products are primarily electrical subassemblies for military vehicles and aircraft including, but not limited to, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, electrical boxes, PCBA, electro-mechanical components and sensors.

The Role: What will you be doing?

The Electrical Engineer is part of a team that designs and develops aerospace/aftermarket products for a range of US military platforms, and provides technical guidance for the production and manufacturing of these products. Candidates should be able to take a set of performance requirements and efficiently design a product in CAD that meets those requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design broad variety of military electrical assemblies and subassemblies. Product categories include: wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electrical box assemblies and circuit cards
• Research components, materials and processes and create detailed and comprehensive technical data packages
• Develop and execute manufacturing and testing plans

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (GPA min 3.0)
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience as an electrical engineer
• Proficiency in CAD (i.e. Altium, OrCAD, EAGLE) and MS Office
• Experience with Analog & Digital circuit desi

Other Requirements: Who are we looking for?

• Good sense of humor

• Ability to work on multiple jobs and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Some professional experience working with defense products and mil-spec standards preferred

• Working knowledge in using hand tools, multi-meters, and testing equipment

• Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&ID drawings

• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics

• Willingness to contribute to the continued growth of the company in a variety of capacities (for example, assisting with training initiatives)

• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new things and push your limits.

• Working knowledge of military sealed cables using circular military connectors and EMI braiding is a plus!

Finally, extra bonus characteristics:

• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing as part of a cross-functional team
