Job description

Our organization is seeking an experienced, motivated and hardworking Electrician to help maintain our electrical systems and wiring. The ideal candidate will be able to design, maintain and install electrical systems, troubleshoot equipment, interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, install electrical panels and have experience in residential and industrial settings. A successful candidate for this position will also have a background in electrical system maintenance and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm that power is off before working on a line.
• Connect properly wired electrical cords to the terminals on electrical panels.
• Ensure panels are locked before working on an electrical line.
• Verify that all tools are correctly rated to work with the line voltage being handled by the tools.
• Know how to shut off the electrical supply to the building where the power is being worked on.
• Remove old wiring and connectors without damaging the building.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
