The Electronic Security Technician or Trainee position will be responsible for installing or assisting in the installation and servicing of enterprise level Integrated Access Control, IP Video, and Intrusion Detection systems.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation and service of enterprise level Integrated access control, IP Video, Intrusion Detection systems and building controls systems.

- Communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate the completion of required tasks.

- Ability to manage multiple mid to large scale projects within budget and on time. Assisting in engineering integrated systems and completing budget projections

-Ensures all company safety policies and procedures are followed and enforced.

-Provides informative and well-organized training for our clients Maintains inventory and provides purchasing forecasts.

- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application

-Thinks creatively out of the box and provides solutions to client’s problems by leveraging technology

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, & CERTIFICATION:
-Proven experience in the engineering and installation of electronic security measures or the willingness to learn.
-Strong knowledge and experience with access control, IP Video, and intrusion detection systems General knowledge of network infrastructure, switches, servers, and routers.
-Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, basic AC/DC theory, Ohms law, and relay logic.
-Mechanically inclined with an understanding of door hardware, locks, and general construction.-Has an understanding of job financial reports and the ability to contain costs in handling large projects.
-Proven experience with new construction and knowledge of new construction phases.
-Detail oriented, superior organizational skills. Excellent follow through and time management skills. Results driven individual, high energy, self-starter.
-Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
