UPA Ellen Thompson is currently seeking a number of enthusiastic, professional teachers to join our community. The position requires a commitment to maintaining regular communication with students, parents and school administrators and an ability to organize lesson plans and grade papers. The ideal candidates for this position are certified, have experience teaching at or close to the grade level of their chosen subject and have a desire to share their passion for knowledge with our students.

Responsibilities:

• Thoughtfully and strategically prepare engaging & active lessons that meets standards mastery & IEP goals
• Provide students with detailed & timely feedback on assignments
• 4th & 5th grade teachers (ONLY) departmentalize in either reading/SS OR math/science
• Effectively use assessment data that leads to growth
• Support implementation of project based learning
• Effectively work with teammates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
