Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Provides leadership on the floor and is a role model for all
- Onboarding New Employees by being a mentor and point of contact for
- Work with existing employees who wish to learn additional skills or need help or “retraining”.
- Assist the Operations Analyst and Production Manager as needed with the translation of current and new SOPs into Spanish.
- Ensure all Production Paperwork is explained and understood, and the New Employee is comfortable and understands how to complete accurately.
- Ensures New Employees are both capable and competent to carry out expected duties.
- Must be an active Member of the Diversity Committee.
- Mentor and Educate New Employees on 6S, BBSA, PPE and other relevant activities.
- Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of
- Liaise with HR Recruiting to ensure Onboarding Information is accurate.
- Prepare new hire packets and coordinate with the Operation Analyst for training
- Liaise with Operations Analyst to update the training matrix and identify gaps in critical training required to have fully trained
- Continued review with New employees at periodic timeframes set by HR.
- Ensure Department Leadership is conducting 1:1.
- Be flexible to accommodate New employees working 2nd
- Liaising with Team leaders, Supervisors and Department Managers, obtaining feedback from their scheduled 1:1 daily interaction with New Employees.
- Utilize this information to liaise with Operations Analyst and HR to populate database to review trends and apply opportunities of improvement.
- Daily interaction with Operations Analyst and Plant Manager to review concerns of New Employees.
- Highlight Areas, Processes, Systems, Communication Opportunities, etc. to better align with our diversity goals and objectives.
