responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of current manufacturing techniques in a stamping manufacturing environment. Equipment, tooling, metal stamping, assembly and testing.
- Design of fixtures/tooling that insures parts are manufactured to meet all print specifications.
- Documents system requirements and performs/facilitates testing for system improvements in Engineering and Production.
- Advises, troubleshoots, and expedites resolutions and implements corrective actions tofacilitate cost reduction, work simplification and safety.
- Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document processes.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
