Description:Equipment technician supporting the Space Seeker Laboratory and may also support the program as a Resident in Charge (RIC). RIC duties include: Maintain Program laboratory per Lockheed Martin (LM) guidelines. Enforce lab rules and regulations. Maintain calibration of all laboratory equipment. Support all laboratory audits.
Laboratory fabrication and troubleshooting support: , build, and cables and support boxes. Support SIL and HWIL activities. Troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
Program support: Support Program development tests; support includes providing inputs to test plans and TRRs, coordinating shipping and transportation of equipment, performing hardware integration and test execution.
Travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Reads and Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Ability to conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering changes.
Supports the /development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out.
Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems.
Desired Skills:
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 5 Years or more of experience.
Experience with using and maintaining equipment. equipment troubleshooting and repair skills are needed.
The ability to work with little to no direct supervision is required.
