Shipt is looking for a Business Development/Account Executive to join the team that would work with companies to advocate and onboard to Shipt’s delivery & marketplace platform.

What You’ll Do:
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Be an expert in the retail industry, same-day delivery business, and serve as a trusted advisor to prospective partners
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for Shipt, create reliable forecasts, and work cross-functionally to identify, excite, and sign new partners
  • Prospect strategic retailers and make the right connections across all levels of their organization
  • Develop and present tailored strategies for prospective partners
  • Negotiate & sign new retail partnerships
  • Be a creative problem solver, and show the ability to inform and persuade appropriately
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share with internal stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with Partner Success, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to ensure successful partner launches
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of Enterprise sales experience
  • Experience with sales hunting, prospecting, and negotiating with c-level executives
  • Strong presentation, analytical, storytelling skills
  • Ability to lead and navigate through complex sales cycles cross functionally across multiple departments
  • Passion for technology, and the change that is taking place in our industry
  • Ability to assess the right business opportunities, make the right connections, and close deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior-level decision-makers
  • Ability to leverage data to inform others, and make business decisions
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Willingness to travel ~40% of the time
  • Experience in the on-demand industry, retail, or start-up space is a plus!

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience selling to e-commerce, grocery, liquor and/or retail businesses
  • Expert knowledge of LinkedIn or other social media outreach for sales
  • On Demand experience
  • Technology or SAAS sales experience

Employees (and eligible family members) are covered by medical, dental, and vision. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and 56 hours of paid sick leave (accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 25 hours worked). Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units.
Colorado Pay Minimum: $69,937
NYC, WA, and CA Pay Range: $83,842-$167,684
Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
