Compensation:$100,000+ income with commission at plan
Responsibilities:- Implement social media and other marketing tools to identify, seek, and generate prospects with whom you can foster strong, long-term relationships as a reliable financial service professional
- Create customized financial plans using the products and services we offer based on each client’s potential life and financial needs
- Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products
- Participate in educational meetings or seminars relevant to client risk tolerant and financial objectives for research prior to offering sound financial advice
- Use a CRM to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan
- Network within your community, build relationships
- Understand the needs and financial concerns of clients
- Assess clients' potential life and financial needs and create and implement an individualized plan that can include investment solutions and protection solutions.
- Educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter
- Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals
- Cultivate relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security
- Build and expand your practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients
- Implement social media and other marketing strategies to identify, seek prospects with you you can foster strong, long-term relationships
- Provide compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise
- Focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of community over time

- Increase your knowledge within the financial industry and achieve specializations following the New York Life training curriculum
- Must have effective relationship management skills
- Ability to successfully network to prospect new potential clients is a must
- Candidates need to be able to communicate complicated concepts and maintain strong principles such as honesty and integrity
- Must possess uncompromising integrity
- Growth mindset, this is a lifelong learning position
- An enterprising spirit is a trait for success
- Sales experience is strongly preferred
- Desire to make a change and help people as you grow your career
- Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts
- Coachable and willing to learn is a must
- Valid FINRA Series 6 or7 & 63/66 preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a similarly related field. Work/Business experience can be substituted for a college degree
- Customer service, Sales, Educational, or Consulting experience a plus
