We are looking for a hungry, motivated and hardworking Inside Sales Representative. If you are interested in beginning a career in a field that is often overlooked, but incredibly lucrative, the Solid Waste and Recycling Industry is not often considered to be a highly “sought after industry” by top sales talent due to its initial lack of appeal. However, people who understand business recognize how great of a business it is and how lucrative it can be. With high expectations, hard work, listening to your customers, this role can develop into a lifelong career as a sales representative in an industry that tends to be recession-proof. Every building in every city in every country across the globe produces some form of waste – that’s a lot of potential customers! Learn the industry, learn the customer, connect the two and watch magic happen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for heavy outbound cold calling via phone and email; as well as, but not limited to:
- Understanding customer needs and wants
- Effectively communicating services provided
- Perform data entry work
- Organizing sales leads with appropriate follow-up
- Scheduling meetings with outside sales to meet with prospective customers
- Meeting outbound call quotas (upward of 75+ per day)
- 0-3 years experience; perfect for recent college graduate
- Customer and service oriented
- Assertive, positive attitude, and team player
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
- Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Sales experience a plus, but not required
- Recent College Grads Welcome!
