Job Description
Hughes has an exciting opportunity for Entry Level VLSI engineers. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities
- Design, Implement, and Verification of System-on-Chip (SOC) using State-of-Art ASIC CAD tools
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Advanced understanding of CMOS microelectronics circuits, fundamental understanding of digital communication and coding theory, microprocessor architecture and good technical writing skills.
- Programming experience with Verilog or VHDL, synthesis using Synopsys or equivalent tools, and programming experience with C/C++ are a plus.
- Low Power Design techniques and UVM Verification methodology
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
