Summary
The Facilities Associate supports the Facilities group and the organization through work related to the maintenance of current sites, equipment, and the development of new sites.

Responsibilities:
1. Facilities Project Management
a. Acts as a Project Manager for site refreshes and/or construction projects.
b. Acts as a Project Manager for all sign work, including sign repairs and new signs, and actively seeks cost containment and lowest cost options.
c. Acts as a Project Manager for all Streaming Audio projects, both new and ongoing maintenance, actively seeks cost containment and lowest cost options.
d. May assist other Project Managers as needed.
2. Equipment
a. Assists sites in ongoing, and emergent maintenance needs on the following:
i. Procedure/Exam Tables
ii. Cryostats
iii. Lasers
iv. Autoclaves
v. General furniture and appliances
vi. Other equipment as needed
b. Work with peers to procure replacement equipment as needed.
c. Tracks cost savings in assigned areas.
3. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience

1. High School diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent is required.
2. Associate’s Degree in related field is preferred.
3. 3-4 years of recent Facilities and general equipment maintenance.
4. 1-2 years in Project Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly Adaptable to a variety of job demands.
3. Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and over the phone.
5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
6. Ability to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
7. Ability to use time productively and contributes to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and direction from supervisors.
9. Must demonstrate professional appearance and manner at all times.

Physical Demands

1. Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment.
