Job description

We are a leading provider of Medical Billing services in Colorado, and are looking for Experienced Medical Billing Specialists to join our team.

The position is responsible for handling all aspects of billing for provider accounts (Full Cycle). The desired candidates will be multi-taskers, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have at least 3 years medical billing experience, and possess working knowledge of Microsoft programs – Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Candidate must be a:

Critical Thinker – someone who looks outside the box to problem solve, especially in dealing with the insurance carriers. Experience in multiple PM’s/EMR’s desired, and ability to adapt to multiple systems is required. Experience in multiple specialties is desired.

Job Duties

• Posting/submission of medical claims to Commercial and Government payers in a timely manner to ensure proper reimbursement .
• Posting payments/ denials, providing needed information to carriers for denials and claim corrections
• Working Accounts Receivables by following up on unpaid claims, corrections, appeals, and making calls to patients on balances. Maintain acceptable AR % according to company standards.
• Maintain day to day contact with physician offices/patients in a professional manner

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Ability to Multi-task and handle high volume needs of accounts
• Microsoft Office – Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Dependable and organized, able to manage time efficiently
• Ability to work independently, but also be a Team Player
• Self-motivated with a go-getter attitude
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail is a must

Education

• High School Diploma/ GED
• CPC helpful, but not required
