Position Summary: Line Operator is responsible for meeting production throughput goals. Insuring all packaging and product checks are performed and documentation is correct. Perform product changeovers and general housekeeping.

Essential Functions and Related Responsibilities:

· Communicate with the departing shift to determine product run order, how the equipment is performing, and any necessary information.

· Visually inspect area for any safety issues or conditions and report to supervisor immediately.

· Follow daily operations schedule and review products to be produced.

· Review and follow standard line conditions.

· Complete quality specification sheets, pallets tags, and down time sheets.

· Follow all product specifications.

· Ensure that proper code date is set correctly for both the masters and product bags.

· Check product specs for desired bag weight, packaging materials, hole-punch, etc.

· Run machine at set production goals insuring quality is maintained.

· Practice all safety and GMP policies.

· Report all production and quality paperwork upon completion.

· Clean equipment and surrounding area in between products changes and before shift change.

· Must be detailed oriented

· Must be 18 years of Age

• Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or

one to three months related experience and/or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience.
