Job description
The Facilities Team Lead is responsible to provide timely, competent and professional delivery of facility services for residents and employees of the Community skilled care areas and Community Center and Independent Living homes and to act as a resource and liaison for the Senior Director of Facility Services.Experience:
- Ability to implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities. Ability to lead members of the Maintenance staff on a day-to-day basis.
- Knowledge of the state and federal regulations and guidelines for a skilled care setting and the required expectations for documentation in preparation of a survey.
- The Team Leader must have previous supervisory skills.
- Must be a good communicator, a strong team player, a person adept at developing relationships and earning others trust, and a person who strongly cares for others well-being and provide exceptional follow up to all issues pertaining to areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to train the maintenance team to effectively carry out their job responsibilities in all areas of Facility Services.
- Must be able to participate in the on-call schedule rotation as established in HR-37 On- Call Policy.
- Requires a valid driver's license and good driving record
- A three-year minimum of broad customer service experience within a Maintenance department is required, with experience in the skilled care setting preferred.
- Maintenance trouble-shooting and coordination is required, as well as public relations experience, is a plus with exceptional follow up skills.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Work experience in the Maintenance field in a lead role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge and experience in a senior living community is preferred , with a specific focus on a skilled care setting.
Oversees the day-to-day functions of the Healthcare Maintenance team which includes feedback and input to the Senior Facilities Director for corrective action and annual performance reviews.
