From that time, we have grown from 10 to over 80 employees and opened three additional branches. In 2002, we purchased a mortgage business, which is now known as First Community Mortgage.

Job Description
Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the facilities of First Community Bank of Tennessee. The Facilities Manager will work independently, but under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. This position is primarily responsible for the general appearance, maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Must be proficient in general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, painting, carpentry, masonry, and HVAC, and using tools and equipment needed to complete such tasks.
· Knowledge of the materials and equipment used in preventive and general custodial/janitorial duties and the ability to use tools and equipment to perform such tasks.
· Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions, allowing for safe and proper maintenance duties including OSHA requirements and the ability to interpret and stay current with all updates.
· Ability to follow written and oral instructions as well as proper safety procedures at all times.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.
· Oversee and perform Bank facilities maintenance and repairs. Assist in creation and implementation of the long-term facilities plan.
· Coordinate and oversee various facility projects.
· Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to execute duties.
· Create and manage Bank facilities preventative maintenance plan.
· Ability to safely operate commercial mowers, weedeaters, and other equipment for grounds upkeep.
· General computer skills, including email, are necessary.
· Must possess good verbal and writing skills.
· Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative in evaluating situations and making decisions.
· Must have evidence of strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently under general supervision and as part of a team.
· Willingness to learn new skills as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
· High School diploma required.
· A minimum of 8 years of relevant facilities management or construction experience.
· Physical ability to perform maintenance, repairs, climb ladders, stairs, carry materials, operate equipment, walk, stand, life up to 75 lbs., stoop bend with or without accommodations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated skills in problem solving, prioritizing, strong ability to balance the sense of urgency and the need to take a step back for informed decision-making.
· Excellent judgement, sense of ethics and integrity, and being able to work in an ever-changing environment.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Must have excellent attention to detail along with critical thinking skills.
· Must possess the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
· Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
Work Environment:
· Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
· Walking or standing continually; be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, use body members (arms, hands, fingers), tools, or special devices to work, move, guide, or place objects.
· This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely performs direct repairs, maintenance, and projects at Bank facilities.
· Exposed to outdoor conditions in all seasons.
