FACILITIES MANAGER
Salary: $20,800 per year
Hours: 20 hours per week
● 10 hours per week will be a set schedule, times are negotiable
● 10 hours per week will be flexible to accommodate outside contractors and
emergency situations
Vision: The St. Paul’s Facilities Manager ensures a safe and functional building and
grounds, that are welcoming to the community.
Qualifications:
● High School Graduate or Equivalent
● Knowledge of and experience in safety and facility maintenance and
management.
● Computer literate.
● Team player with excellent communication skills.
● Ability to lead and organize volunteers.
● Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds.
● Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
● Willingness to take initiative.
● You must have a passion and love for Christ.
Areas of Accountability:
● Coordinate, schedule oversees outside sources for maintenance, repairs, or
building projects beyond the scope of time or ability available. Including but not
limited to: electrical, HVAC, lawn care, snow removal, pest control,
interior/exterior painting, trash, plumbing, elevator, safety systems, fire alarm, fire
sprinkler system, etc.
● Perform regular maintenance checks.
● Perform regular safety inspections.
● Respond to facilities requests in a timely fashion.
● Identify, recruit, equip, and deploy volunteers whenever possible to assist with
facilities upkeep.
● Coordinate with staff when projects encroach on areas of the facility they
commonly use.
● Ensure maintenance and licensing on all church vehicles.
● Coordinator room or grounds set up for all church events.
● Emergency contact for facility-related emergencies.
● Other duties as assigned.
Accountability:
● Log and send monthly timesheet to Executive Pastor.
● Submit budget requests to Executive Pastor annually, with a prioritized list of
upcoming projects.
● Reports to the Executive Pastor.
● Maintain confidentiality.
● Serve as staff liaison to the trustee committee.
● Attend staff meetings.
● Logs all projects into Google Drive.
