Definition:
- Responsible for prompt and accurate billing of contract customers as assigned.
- Responsible for coordinating collection efforts as needed with local operation leadership.
- Responsible for maintaining contract database in coordination with local operation leadership and Regional Finance Director.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must work at the administration office building in Collierville, TN
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology.
- Must have solid verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have excellent administrative skills and be very detailed orientated.
- Must have ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good computer skills and be able to type at least 30 words per minute.
- Must have the ability to use mouse-keyboard to input data for long periods of time.
- Prefer a minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare billing and collections.
- One year experience as Dispatcher or Emergency Medical Technician helpful.
Reports To:
- Regional Director of Finance
- Responsible for prompt and accurate billing of contract customers as assigned.
- Demonstrates complete knowledge of proper contract billing and coding procedures.
- Demonstrates complete knowledge and use of company Service Level Matrix Tool.
- Read and comprehend the content of the patient care report to sufficiently analyze and perform service level coding to each claim.
- Responsible for coding contract ambulance, wheelchair, stretcher, livery, and standby transports.
- Utilize and assign appropriate ICD10, HCPCS and modifiers for ambulance services to each claim.
- Bills all contract activities per specifics of customer contract in contract database.
- Responsible for coordinating collection efforts as needed with local operation leadership.
