RF Position is for DAS and Inbuilding Design in the New Orleans area. A self-managed and self-starter mentality with a proven ability to thrive while under challenging circumstances to deliver projects on time, with zero defects, and within budget.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
-RF DAS/Inbuilding Design Experience of a minimum of 1 - 2 years.
- Knowledge of major DAS systems like Commscope, Mobile Access, Solid, and or JMA
- Atoll User
- iBwave level 2 certification (Level 3 certification).
- Google Drive, Docs, and Gmail
- Highly recommend having some experience with tools: Fuze SPM, Fuze Planning (Canvas), and SPM Tracker
- Work with other Departments: Real Estate, System Performance, Construction, Transport, and Project Management Leads.
JOB DUTIES:
- Work with market real estate, RF, implementation, and performance engineers on project planning and creating a project in Fuze
- Gather as-built details of existing systems from Atoll, Fuze, and other internal tools; and provide recommendations with a solution for C-band, SNAP, and/or mmW upgrade.
- Put together design requirements for large office buildings, hotels, or hospitals based on capacity and coverage needs. Provide inputs to design vendors to create a greenfield or an upgrade iBwave design
- Fill out RF application forms to join a 3PO or lead carrier DAS. Complete the application based on design criteria
- Review an NH DAS design proposed by a 3PO or lead carrier and provide feedback to the National IBV team for review and approval
- Assemble design packages in preparation for bidding design out to installation vendors. This includes exporting an iBwave design in PDF, equipment list, ROM, and square footage.
- Review and approve preliminary CDs produced by an external A&E firm and ensure it is consistent with the design.
- Assist internal In-building team by providing inputs to build a site in Atoll and complete Fuze tasks that include RFDS, RFE, e911 and CIQ.
- Work with a 3rd party vendor to initiate and produce an MPE study. Review and approve a theoretical or an onsite MPE analysis report.
- Assist the national team with AT&T and TMO onboarding activities to join a company owned neutral host DAS. This includes reviewing carrier application forms and iBwave design modifications based on carrier requirements.
- Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 based systems like Ericsson DOT and Spidercloud; Knowledge of 5G evolution of these products.
- Knowledge of LAA, CBRS, and 5G architecture in enterprise deployment scenarios.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- BS Degree or equivalent work experience in RF Engineering.
- iBwave level 2 certification (Level 3 certification).

-Standard 8 am - 5 pm Shift (hour lunch) M-F.
- Only work Weekends or after hours if needed but rarely occurs.
