Financial Analyst – Accounts Receivable
Your Role
The Financial Analyst- Customer Risk Management will have primary responsibility for financial support for our CTA/Commodity Trading Advisor through Ardent Mills Solutions, the Customer Risk Director, Sales and Risk Control Group of Ardent Mills. Responsibilities include financial reporting of derivatives, management reporting for the business, daily position reconciliation, weekly customer communication, establishing and monitoring effective risk controls, assist with internal and external derivative audits, as well as occasionally supporting other treasury groups and Central Hedge Desk. This position will be a key support role for the Ardent Mills Risk Control Group. This position reports to the Ardent Mills Manager of Risk Control Group and has direct accountability to Customer Risk, Risk Management, and Sales.

Key Accountabilities
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of Customer Risk Management activities and their impact to business financial statements.
- Perform daily critical tasks of supporting Ardent Mills Solutions via position reconciliation, period end close processes, analysis, and investigation of customer contract trends.
- Be a co-pilot to the Director of Customer Risk Management and their team in enabling Ardent Mills Solutions to grow its business and add value to the Sales Organization as well as the Risk Team.
- Implement and maintain adequate and effective internal controls across the business processes including managing NFA, CTA, CME, MGEX, CFTC regulations, Board approved limits, accounting policies and procedures including effective metrics to track progress, trends, etc.
- Support other Treasury groups and Central Hedge Desk activities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or applicable business discipline
- 3+ years in accounting, finance, or related positions
- Financial reporting and technical skills with deep understanding of GAAP regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of risk principles and regulatory requirements is a must
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail is a must
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate and execute cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking to establish, improve and streamline processes and procedures
- Ability to work on multiple, complex projects, simultaneously and see them to completion with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Good to Have
- Advanced degree
- Experience working in a Mark-to-Market and/or customer sales atmosphere is preferred
- Accounting expertise in contract valuation, derivative instruments, internal controls, and hedge accounting
- Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls and effective policies
Other Considerations
- This is a hybrid role based in our Denver, CO Headquarters. The successful candidate will be expected to commit to 3 days per week in Denver HQ.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $69,590.29 - $92,816.06, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 5% Annual.
