Eaton’s Industrial division is currently seeking a Finance Transformation Director.
Position Overview:
Eaton’s Aerospace Group is hiring a Finance Transformation Director. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance of Eaton Aerospace, the Finance Transformation Director will partner with finance leaders at all levels of the organization to implement significant changes in technology and processes for the finance function that will enable the finance organization to scale and improve in terms of efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and business partnership. This role will drive the design, execution, and measurement of Finance Transformation initiatives with Eaton Aerospace Group to align with the overall Eaton Finance Transformation Vision.
In this function you will:
- Work with cross-functional business partners to prioritize and execute process improvements to critical and foundational finance processes including profit plan, forecasting, etc., and assist shared services with planning and managing the project roadmap.
- Establish a process and technology transformation roadmap with the support of the Transformation Management Office (TMO), and share progress/status/roadmap updates with Senior Finance Leadership. Lead, coach, and develop the Group Finance Transformation team and develop financial and digital competencies required for the transformation within the divisions.
- Host idea generation events and discussions with business and functional leaders to build a pipeline of finance transformation projects and initiatives
- Act as a member of the finance transformation leadership committee and ensure the business is fully leveraging the TMO and Domain Leads for support with project management, communications, change management, and execution SMEs/resources.
- Leverage best practices, industry standards, methodologies, and frameworks to define and execute on the transformation vision and strategy
- Work with SMEs to identify key process metrics to measure benefits achieved via transformation efforts and monitor progress on heatmap/capability maturity model
- Develop execution plans for the achievement of Finance Transformation initiatives including processes, technology, and talent
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, and/or Finance from an accredited institution- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualification:
Manufacturing experience- Direct finance transformation experience
- Broad understanding of Finance processes and enabling technologies
- Strong project management skillset, including project scoping and planning, structure thinking, and risk identification
- Ability to build a strong network and reputation within the Finance organization to drive change
- Ability to assess situations, determine urgency of risks, and determine path to resolution
- Demonstration of effective leadership, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills necessary to interact and influence senior management in both, Finance, and the business

The expected annual salary range for this role is $168750.0 - $247500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
