Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, advising across all aspects of their balance sheet, including public and private investments, company equity, estate planning, lending, banking, and financial planning

• Lead client relationships by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, and delivering an ongoing exceptional client experience

• Provide proactive communication to clients about macro events, markets, updates to tax/estate laws, and ongoing planning opportunities

• Perform tax transition analyses of existing client portfolios and recommend changes in collaboration with Compound’s investment team

• Create stock diversification plans for clients with concentrated equity positions going through liquidity events such as IPOs or acquisitions

• Evaluate and recommend specific alternate investment funds based on client goals, risk profile, and asset allocation

• Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to develop and build Compound’s custom tools and solutions for clients and advisors

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience working in wealth management, private banking, or investment management

• Demonstrated understanding of markets, asset allocation, portfolio construction, lending/borrowing solutions, tax/estate planning, and identification of wealth planning solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detailed-oriented, reliable, and adaptable to a fast-moving environment

• Series 65 or 66 within 90 days of employment

Helpful but not required:

• CFP or CFA

• Experience advising technology employees and founders

Compensation:

• The expected base salary for this role is between $140-$155k, plus equity and the potential for performance-based bonuses.
