Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs)
MRA #1 Financial Assistance
· Assists prospective, current and re-entry students with all required administrative, academic, and financial paperwork and forms thru multiple delivery systems.
· Collects and/or analyzes financial data on students to determine financial assistance eligibility within institutional guidelines. Prepares the financial assistance information into a formulated plan and other required documents.
· Advises students about methods to pay for their education, financial aid eligibility, and financial assistance programs; individualizes information to the needs and situation of the student.
· Works closely with campus staff to obtain additional information and documents to secure federal financial aid for current and prospective students.
· Presents financial assistance documentation and then collects completed forms through a video conferencing system. Must be comfortable with meeting with individuals over a video chat.
· Prepares, collects, and manages important financial assistance documents through use of an electronic delivery system and makes sure those documents are included the student’s file.
· Examines and manages documents for accuracy and completeness when requesting financial assistance to be awarded.
· Answers questions for current, prospective, and withdrawn students through our toll-free financial assistance hotline or individual communication and provide accurate information.
· Answers questions, inquiries or requests from students, parents, or guardians in person or in writing regarding financial assistance programs and eligibility.
· Works within compliance, accrediting, and university guidelines to insure proper dissemination of information to students, parents, etc.
· Performs and manages other administrative duties as assigned.
MRA# 2 Student Accounts – Account Receivables
· Monitors and verifies the accuracy of charges posted and funds received to explain to students as necessary.
MRA# 3 Compliance, Support and Backup
· Aids with audit process and daily processes with the financial aid department at Campus Support. Maintains a presence and knowledge with Title IV Student Financial Aid programs and all federal and state regulatory requirements.
· Provides support with implementing financial assistance processes.
· Maintains knowledge and awareness of status of other position responsibilities to provide timely assistance when needed.
· Collaborates with Campus Support associates to maintain compliance at the campus level.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,295.07 - $45,000.00 per year
