CMEP Finance Analyst

Description

• Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.
• Prepares analyses and reports for department managers.
• Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
• Supports month end close.
• Prepares and consolidates financial data.
• Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
• Executes special projects as assigned.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

Experience

• Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
• Responsible for partnering with local plant functional leaders to facilitate all CMEP Capital Expenditure activity including Reporting, Forecasting, AOP, and business case analysis; ownership of annual Fixed Asset Audit; timely capitalization of assets in use, etc. as well as any ad hoc requests. Additional routine work includes preparation of monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations and point contact for Ariba purchases.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
