Financial Advisor
Role/Position Description:
The Financial Advisor is responsible for maintaining and growing their book of business while keeping their customers' interests first. This role requires recommending investment products and services to prospects and existing clients by communicating and understanding the client's financial needs and goals. The Financial Advisor is also responsible for meeting performance targets on an annual basis.
This role reports to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with customers and evaluate their needs to effectively manage their wealth
- Analyze, draft and implement comprehensive financial and investment plans to help meet client objectives
- Maintain required licensures (Series 7, 63, etc.) to continue and increase business
- Stay current and informed of new investment products and market trends
- Identify and develop new business through existing and potential clients
- Be compliant with all processes and procedures set forth by the firm
Primary Objectives:
Maintain and grow book of business- Create and cultivate customer relationships
- Be knowledgeable of market trends and new investment products
Key Measurements:
Ability to meet performance goals annually- Having few to zero compliance complaints
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years in industry- Solid book of business with a minimum production of $250k and $25MM in assets under management
- Bachelor's degree
- Series 7 and 63 licenses
