Financial Services Specialist
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

The Financial Services Specialist is primarily responsible for meeting a wide-range of member needs through the seamless integration of lending and membership. This role requires strong sales, service, and relationship building skills as well as the flexibility to provide exceptional, “one-stop” service to our members to meet all of their financial needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Effectively analyzing member relationships and needs.
• Educating members about our products and services and making recommendations that meet or exceed their needs and contribute to a lasting relationship.
• Completing membership and/or loan requests in person or electronically.
• Exercising flexibility in seamlessly transitioning from a lending focus to a deposit services focus - ensuring both exceptional service and the proper recommendation of products and services.
• Employing exceptional interpersonal and sales skills to build trust and foster viable, profitable relationships.
• Participating in occasional brand development and relationship building initiatives within the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina market.

Desired Qualifications Include:

• Exceptional sales and relationship building skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail orientation with strong organization and follow-up skills
• A high level of initiative
• Excellent judgment and analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box when working with complex situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications
• Prior banking and lending experience preferred, but not required
