What's this job?

As a retail accountant on our team, you'll perform various tasks which include:

• General Ledger Activity - analyzing data for trends in sales and expenses plus identifying posting errors
• Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Bank account reconciliations
• Depreciation calculation
• Producing month-end profit and loss financial statements for the executive team

What you need:

• Knowledge in producing retail business financial statements
• Great Plains and/or QuickBooks software experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with related experience is preferred but an Associate's Degree with an eagerness to learn and grow is acceptable
