Fitness Center & Lifeguard Coordinator
Job description
HTS is hiring a Fitness Center & Lifeguard Coordinator to oversee the Fitness and Aquatic Center at a premier senior living community located in Franklin, Indiana. This position will manage the daily operations in the fitness center and perform lifeguard duties for residents swimming in the pool.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, Full-time
Hourly Rate: $20
Qualifications
Fitness/Exercise Experience Preferred
CPR/AED Certification
Candidate must be willing to obtain Lifeguard Certification. The cost to obtain certification will be fully paid by the employer.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations in the Fitness & Aquatic Center
- Monitor the safety of residents on fitness equipment and during aquatic exercise classes
- Communicate with members and staff in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor the safety of swimmers while in the pool and exemplify rescue-ready behavior
- Lead group aquatic exercise classes weekly
- Track and report member attendance

- Candidate must be willing to obtain Lifeguard Certification if currently not certified. The fee for certification will be fully reimbursed by employer.
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50lbs.
- Acceptable attendance.
- Other work duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
