Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled FOIA/Privacy Specialist to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) activities. The ARPA-H mission is to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting the development of high-impact solutions to society’s most challenging health problems. In support of ARPA-H and their mission, SA employees will exceed client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to milestones.
A successful FOIA/Privacy Specialist candidate will incorporate the following skills and experiences:
- Supports formulation of policy, ensures compliance with federal and state laws, and conducts thorough research of federal implementing regulations.
- Implements unique policies and procedures to manage agency information, providing assistance and services to the general public and an organization, agency, or facility staff members.
- Monitors and covers all aspects of the collection, use, dissemination, disclosure, and destruction of information within an organization, agency, or facility.
- Develops and integrates policy-based processes, roles and controls that influences how data is created, collected, used, stored, and destroyed throughout the organization.
Qualification Requirements:
Education
- MA/MS
Clearance
- HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
Experience
- 10 or more years in FOIA or Compliance activities.
- Experience in ARPA/DARPA agencies preferred.
