Maria Regina Residence, located in Brentwood, NY on Long Island, is seeking Part Time Dietary Assistants to join our food services team in our skilled nursing facility. A vital and important part of the team you will provide food and nutrition services on a daily basis- essential to the residents' health, happiness & wellbeing.

This is a part time position, with a primary shift of 4:30pm-7:30pm

Position Overview:

Dietary Assistants at Maria Regina Residence are essential in helping to prepare and deliver meals to our residents while performing important tasks in the kitchen including assembly, prep, delivery, while following proper sanitation and infection control procedures. We put an emphasis on patient safety and mission-based care. We have very high standards of care for patients and residents, and we are consistently rated as a 5-star facility by CMS. Some of the key requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role in food service strongly preferred
• Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
• Team member - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork
