JOB DESCRIPTION - FOOD SERVICES BREAKFAST PREP/LUNCH PREP

Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.

Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.

Prepare foods according to package directions or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.

Obtain required certificates required by board of health.

Visually inspect temperatures of all refrigerators and freezers during each day report any abnormal temperatures to administration.

Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service, or store them in refrigerated storage cabinets.

This position is paid for the hours worked on-site. In the event that the school goes virtual, this position resumes (on-site) when the staff and students resume on-site.

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff are not required to be vaccinated, however unvaccinated staff must submit a negative Covid-19 test weekly. Masks are optional for staff and students. All Covid-19 guidelines from CDC and the Department of Health are followed.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Union, NJ 07083: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Food service: 1 year (Preferred)
