Decadent Flavor is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate Food Truck Supervisors to be part of our growing team. We are looking for passionate people who share our commitment to great food and quality! We are growing rapidly and are looking to fill these positions quickly! If you have been in the restaurant business as a server, lead bartender, trainer, a front of house supervisor or manager, we may be the perfect fit for you!
As Food Truck Supervisor you're on the front lines to deliver the food, service, and experience our guests have come to expect. Food Truck Supervisors ensure that our truck operates efficiently and profitably. You will be responsible for assisting the CEO with the business performance of the truck, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service and health and safety. This role combines strategic planning, organization, and day-to-day management activities.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a quick learner, resourceful, organized, have excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to exercise good judgment.
Decadent Flavor's Food Truck Supervisor
As a Food Truck Supervisor you'll work under the general supervision of the company's CEO being responsible for the overall management of the Decadent Flavor's Food Truck. This is a multi-faceted, well rounded position that will require someone with a solid good work ethic and strong leadership skills.
A Food Truck Supervisor Scope Includes:
- Oversee the day-to-day food service operations of the food truck
- Ensure consistent delivery of high quality service during all food truck events while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Prepare menu items with speed and accuracy
- Provide overall culinary support for all events
- Supervise, train and develop all crew members
- Ensure all crew members follow in house policies and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Drive the truck to event venues and vending locations
- Manage inventory by keeping records of supplies and purchases
- Assist the CEO with loading and unloading the truck and supply shopping as needed
- Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum of 1 year experience in the food service industry (supervisory experience is a plus)
- The ability to work and create a fast-paced customer service driven environment
- Daily hands-on experience of all Front of House/Back of House operations
- A valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to operate large vehicles
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of people and treat our clients and customers with respect and dignity
- Candidates must possess willingness and ability to travel and work with flexible schedules based on business demands
- Candidates must be able to work standing for long periods of time
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance or with a reasonable accommodation
