Position: Forklift Operator

Summary:Boxman Studios is looking for a careful Forklift Operator to move packages and material around our facilities. The desired candidate will be capable of operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. This involves driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities while being a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

Job Description:

• Must be comfortable moving bigger items, i.e., shipping containers.
• Must be comfortable driving inside and outside of warehouse, sometimes on uneven surfaces or in inclement weather.
• Must be comfortable driving small (6,000lbs) & big (17,500lbs) ride on lifts.
• Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damages and shortages with containers or materials.
• Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other materials used for production.
• Maintains clean work area & 5S of material room.
• Analyzes productions schedules to determine timely transportation of materials and products.
• Documents arrival, departure, and movement and storage of goods, checks trucking manifests and bills of lading, maintains inventory, and tracks fulfillment of customer and vendor orders.
• Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers or hotshot trailers.
• Communicate with drivers, coworkers, and leaders to move production line.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
• Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance a plus.

Education & Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• English & Spanish is a plus.
• OSHA Certified.
