Front Desk Agent

Full time position including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule must be flexible.

Compensation is based on experience.

Must be hardworking, responsible, dependable, and willing to go the extra mile!

We are located 1 block from Faneuil hall and the waterfront.

Local resident or T commuter is a plus, we do not have parking.

Easy access from MBTA subway orange, blue and green lines.

Tasks

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.

Manage online and phone reservations.

Act as a bell person or housekeeper when necessary.

Track housekeepers ready rooms, maintenance issues and log hours.

Use toilet plunger, change light bulbs and trouble shoot maintenance issues when necessary.

Guest Services

Call taxi’s and make restaurant reservations.

Be familiar with and able to explain Boston’s tourist attractions, directions, and everything else it has to offer.

Assist guests in all requests possible.

Create a warm friendly atmosphere.

General Responsibilities

Be a team player, always helpful to guests and co-workers!

Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous attitude always.

Communicate effectively with other departments and managers.

Always keep the front desk and lobby areas neat and clean.

Stay organized while managing multiple tasks.

Take initiative to solve problems and improve operations.

Be well groomed and neat in appearance.

This position requires you to be on your feet and moving around taking a hands-on approach to work.
