Best Gym in Napa Valley by North Bay Bohemian, features new state-of-the-art equipment including an array of cardio equipment, free weights, kettlebells, squat rack as well as selectorized machines. Calistoga Fit is now also home to a brand new motion studio also voted
2020s Best Dance studio, that boasts radiant heated floors, a bright and airy yoga studio, a pilates reformer, TRX, boxing and aerial yoga.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for Front Desk Associates that will be proficient at handling Member requests in regard to Billing Payments, Cancellations, Account adjustments, as well as various other cleaning responsibilities.

Front Desk Associates are tasked with greeting members coming in and out of the gym,
Selling/Providing information to new gym clientele, Promoting sell-able merchandise such as equipment or apparel, Monitoring member accounts, and maintaining a clean and friendly environment for our members to enjoy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym.
● Provides security and control to the front door and retail area of the facility.
● Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures.
● Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and notify Gym Operations Supervisor.
● Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
● Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques.
● Responsible for following up on telephone inquiries to ensure that the appointment was booked properly.
● Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
● Maintain neat appearance

● Reserves time/makes appointments for special classes or other activities sponsored by the gym.

● Processes retail and concession sales.
● Attends all staff meetings as directed.
● Cleans and maintains the front desk area according to Company standards.
● Follow proper opening and closing procedures
● Logs all maintenance and safety concerns that are reported.
● Works when scheduled and adheres to company attendance policies.
● Performs other reasonable work assignments as directed by the Gym Operations

Director to include but not limited to gym cleaning and picking up of weights.

Qualifications
● Excellent customer service skills are required.
● Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
● Ability to communicate effectively verbally, non-verbally and in writing is required
● Understanding of basic cash processing procedures is required.
● Functional computer skills are required.
● Ability to multi-task.
● Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
● Must be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
